Minnesota Area Rescue Resources

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is only able to accept orphaned kittens who are not eating on their own. Below is a list of other kitten/cat rescues in the Minneapolis, St. Paul and surrounding Minnesota/Western WI areas. If you need to surrender a kittens with mom, older kittens or adult cats to rescue, please contact as many rescues in your area as you can and ask to be placed on a waiting list if necessary.  

You can also call the Animal Humane Society 952-HELP-PET (952-435-7738) to make a surrender appointment. They often book out several weeks but it’s good to make this appointment up front as you can always cancel it later. 

If you’re on Facebook, the groups MN & WI Cats in Need of Rescue ,  MN Cats Needing Rescue and MN Cats in Danger are a good place to network cats in need.
